Single sign-on (SSO) with OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Companies can benefit from using single sign-on (SSO) solutions in many ways:

  • Users’ identities can be managed in a central identity provider (also called Identity and Access Management or IAM) solution.
  • Access to company software can be controlled by multi-factor authentication, set up centrally.
  • Users can access company tools and resources with the same credentials.

For memoQ TMS, it means that users can log in using an identity provider that their company already uses. Since version 6.0, memoQ users can use their in-domain Windows Active Directory accounts for this purpose. Version 9.5 introduced an advanced option to benefit from federated authentication: OIDC-based SSO. From version 9.7, users can switch from Windows Active Directory to OIDC.
