This page describes how you can install a new copy of memoQ server. The description works if memoQ server was not installed on the computer previously.

After you install and configure memoQ server, you may need to install memoQweb and Customer Portal.

How to get here

1.Log in to the memoQ server computer through Remote Desktop.

2.Download the memoQ server setup package from the memoq.com website: https://www.memoq.com/en/downloads. To get to the memoQ server download, click the memoQ server tab on this page.

3.When the download is complete, launch the file you downloaded.

4.Windows may ask you to confirm to run the file. Click Yes or Run.

5.The memoQ server deployment tool is installed on the server. Then the Deployment window opens. You need the topmost section (memoQ server).

6.In the memoQ server section, click Install memoQ server. The Install memoQ server wizard starts.

Choose a service account

Setting the administrator password and the client connect address

Set up a secure network connection

Secure the Web Service API (which is more than HTTPS)

Set up e-mailing

There are several other settings in the last Install memoQ server window, but they are not required for memoQ server to start up. They can be configured later from the memoQ server deployment tool – see the following topics:
