EuroTermBank is an accumulated online term base consisting of more than 600,000 entries of more than 1,500,000 terms.

In this window, you can choose what types of matches memoQ will return from EuroTermBank.

How to get here

1.Open the Options window: At the very top of the memoQ window - in the Quick Access toolbar quick-access-default -, click the Options (cogwheels) quick-access-options icon. The Options window opens.

2.Under Category, click Terminology plugins. The Terminology plugins pane appears.

3.Under Installed terminology plugins, find EuroTermBank plugin. Next to its icon, click Options. The EuroTermBank options window opens.

What can you do?

Choose if memoQ should return only exact matches, or it can return terms that are just similar to the ones in the text (for example, the endings of words are different). Choose one of these radio buttons:

Only exact matches: Receives exact matches only. EuroTermBank will return a match only if the term is exactly the same as the expression in the text or in the Look up term window.

Any match above threshold: Performs a fuzzy or a linguistic lookup (when it searches for linguistic stems of the lookup expression). You can set the minimum match rate (a percentage) in the box next to the radio button.

When you finish

To save the settings, and return to the Terminology plugins pane of the Options window: Click OK.

2.Open a project with a supported language pair.

3.Open a document for editing, and terminology suggestions. Or, use the Look up term window to look for terms manually.
